Privacy policy

This site is published by Fares Ben Souilah, based in Tunisia. For any question about your data, write to fares@bensouilah.com or call +216 22 602 577.

The site has no form, no account and no newsletter. If you email or call, your message and contact details are used only to answer you and are not shared.

To understand how the site is used, two measurement tools run:

• Umami, on a server operated for us by Takolor: it counts visits and pages without cookies and without identifying you. It runs for every visitor.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): it uses cookies and runs only if you accept them in the banner. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. Google may process this data outside Tunisia and the European Union.

Video previews come from YouTube (i.ytimg.com), which receives your IP address when the page loads. A video only plays, from the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain, when you click it; YouTube may then set its own cookies. Fonts are served by this site, not by Google. Links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube take you to those services, under their own policies.

Like any web server, our host records technical data for each request (IP address, date, page, browser) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are not used to identify visitors.

You can ask to access, correct or delete data about you, or object to its use, by writing to fares@bensouilah.com. Visitors from the European Union have these rights under the GDPR; in Tunisia, the organic law n° 2004-63 on personal data protection applies, and you may also contact the national authority, the INPDP.
